BUSINESS ANALYST

Client: Utilities Company

Role: System Administrator

Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto (Hybrid WFH + 2 days in-office)

Rate: up to $65 /hr

The Role:

You will be assigned to multiple Projects and Operational Initiatives that service IT Applications and various Business Applications which related to the human resources, field engineers, construction team and health and safety. The individual will also be responsible to execute a number of smaller Intake initiatives and manage the regular software renewal process. You will work with multiple different stakeholders and be able to collaborate with them to build Requirements, business flow diagrams, Test Cases, Project Timelines and maintain commitments to meet the timelines. Stakeholders will generally include Business Users, System Administrators, Technical Consultants, Solutions Architects and Enterprise Architects.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science
• Prior experience working in the Utilities sector
• Strong experience with MS Office & Visio
• Strong experience with Technical and Business Writing.
• Ability to gather and document business/project data to support different initiatives.
• Ability to document requirements, business flows, test cases and other business solution documents.
• Ability to build the plan to execute the assigned work
• Ability to proactively follow up with project stakeholders on the status of tasks and timelines
