Overview

The Seismic Finance team is a diverse group of fun, hard-working and highly collaborative individuals engaged in supporting the company’s growth trajectory. Seismic continues to expand our Finance team and we are searching for a passionate and talented FP&A Analyst to join our San Diego team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with your FP&A counterparts and cross-functional business partners in providing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting support for the Go-To-Market organization
  • Analyze and interpret financial results, highlighting key variances, identifying trends, patterns, and areas of recommendation for budget and forecast considerations
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting packages for key business partners to advise on business performance and monitor performance relative to plan
  • Develop and maintain financial models to help management evaluate the impact of business decisions
  • Assist in the modeling and analyzing of top line related metrics (ARR, ASP, Subscription and Services Revenue, commissions, etc.) as well as Sales and Services Capacity Models
  • Assist in special projects as needed and run ad-hoc analyses to answer pressing questions

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or related field, preferably in a rapidly growing SaaS organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Financial planning system experience (Adaptive Planning preferred)
  • ERP (Netsuite, SAP, etc.) and CRM (Salesforce) experience
  • (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Domo, etc.) a plus
  • Understanding of SQL a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Currently live in San Diego, CA

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data.

The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

Seismic’s salary range for this position is: $70,400 USD – $104,500 USD

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary.

The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
