Senior Financial Analyst

Spectrum Search Group has partnered with a fantastic company in the Houston, TX area seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team.

The position will work directly with key members of the FP&A team to analyze data that will influence strategic decisions for company performance improvements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of business-related experience with the ability to be detail oriented and process driven.
• Preferred two years of experience in FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or Accounting is required.
• Very strong PC skills and experience in Windows packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, PowerBI, Outlook) and financial systems.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to move seamlessly from project to project as requirements dictate are important traits and skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skill set: understanding of advanced financial analysis techniques using spreadsheet software; ability to assist in the design of reports that present data in a concise manner for use by top management in decision making; strong analytical and interpersonal skill; ability to communicate with Sr. management (verbal, prose and PowerPoint) in a concise/executive summary fashion.

Some travel and overtime may be required.
