Summary

Archwell is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform the day-to-day analytical, reporting and FP&A functions related to a portfolio of operating companies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee monthly financial performance reporting by operating company
  • Lead forecasting process and own financial forecast models, including P&L, cash flow, and supporting schedules/analyses. Ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Focus on expense tracking, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling to communicate impacts on business unit profitability.
  • Work with business unit heads to constantly improve reporting and complete ad-hoc analyses.
  • Work in conjunction with accounting team to produce periodic managerial reporting.
  • Develop processes to continually streamline and improve financial processes.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field.
  • One to five years of Financial Services industry experience (Corporate Finance, FP&A, Finance, Analytics or Accounting).
  • Advanced financial modeling skills/high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with senior management.
  • Goal-oriented and highly motivated self-starter.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and work place policies. Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write professional correspondences. Ability to write routine business reports. Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers. Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

The Estimated Base Pay Compensation For This Role Is

$54,386.00 - $101,161.00

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for commission based on loans closed.
