Spectrum Search Group is partnering with a growing company to find a detail-oriented, Excel-savvy problem-solver to join the team as a Financial Analyst. This role involves managing financial and operational reporting across two operating companies, including monthly variance analysis, forecasting, and tracking key operational KPIs. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with a small finance team based in Plano, TX, while also collaborating with key members of the operations team.
Key Qualifications:
- 0-1 year of finance experience through internships, advanced coursework, or a Staff Analyst role
- Strong Excel proficiencyāmacros and SQL are not required, but a solid grasp of other Excel functions is preferred
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently
Responsibilities:
- Support financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ticket volume, productivity, hours worked, pricing, unit costs, and gross profit across business units.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights, support decision-making, and develop reports and projections.
