The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making within a multi-site dental partnership organization (DPO). This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from the Dental Practice Management System (DPMS) and other relevant sources to provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall inorganic and organic business growth.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from the DPMS and other internal and external systems to generate reports and insights.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in operational performance across multiple dental locations.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and support leadership in strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights on patient volume, revenue cycle trends, provider productivity, and other essential operational metrics.
• Collaborate with finance, corporate development, and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency across locations.
• Conduct analyses as needed to support executive leadership in evaluating new business opportunities or operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Familiarity with Dental Practice Management Systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in a multi-location healthcare or dental setting is preferred
