About The Role

Are you ready to make an impact from day one? We’re hiring our Financial Analyst at EnergyCAP! In this role—you’ll build financial models, help shape strategy, and drive decisions that fuel our company’s growth.

This isn’t your typical number-crunching job. You’ll be at the intersection of finance and strategy, working directly with our go-to-market (GTM) teams to turn data into insights and insights into action.

Here’s what you might dive into the first 12 months:

  • Own the Numbers – Build forecasts, financial models, and dashboards that give leadership a clear view of where we are and where we’re headed.
  • Be a Strategic Partner – Work side-by-side with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to help them understand revenue trends, optimize investments, and drive growth.
  • Create Insights that Matter – Analyze data, spot trends, and provide recommendations that influence big decisions. Your work won’t sit on a shelf—it will shape the business.
  • Build from the Ground Up – As our first Financial Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to define processes, implement best practices, and set the foundation for a high-impact finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasts intended for both internal and external audiences.
  • Assist in the budgeting process across multiple departments by developing financial models and analyzing trends.
  • Assist in development of Go-To-Market (GTM) reporting metrics such as Pipeline Generation and Sales Cycle Duration and monitor week-over-week changes in Sales Forecast.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data, providing insights to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess the financial viability of new projects or initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare presentations for department leads and the executive leadership team.
  • Support financial audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify potential process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • About 2 to 5 years of relevant corporate finance experience.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, financial software).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information succinctly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.com is a plus.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000, plus 3-5% annual bonus

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
